Dr. Daniel E. Cassell is the Founder: President/CEO of both Christian-based organizations: Kwenyan Professional Health Services, LLC (Parent Company) and Kwenyan and Associates (Subsidiary). He’s a loving husband and a great father to five wonderful children. A resident of Pennsylvania, Bucks County. Dr. Cassell completed undergraduate education at Temple University in Pennsylvania, receiving a B.A. in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. He later received his first masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) at A.T. Still University in Missouri, and second masters-M.A. and a Ph.D. in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine at Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona. Dr. Cassell is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and a licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor (LCADC) in New Jersey. He also has over 22 years of professional experiences working with children, adolescents, and adults in the mental, behavioral health and addiction services fields. During his leisure time, Dr. Cassell enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, working out, reading a variety of journals and books, listening to variety of music but mostly gospel music, and watching investigative movies and documentaries.
Mrs. Carmen Ward
Mrs. Carmen Ward is a Clinical Care Coordinator, License Professional Counselor and a Clinically certified sex offender treatment specialist. I started my career in the mental health field at Kwenyan Professional Health services as an intern. Under the leadership of Dr. Cassell I studied, learned and practiced all the skills needed to become the License Professional Counselor I am today. After graduating from Caldwell University with a masters in mental health counseling I was given the opportunity to become a part of the Kwenyan family full time. I've been working with children, adults, adolescents, couples and families, helping them to address underlying issues to gain insight and skills to help alleviate their distress and reach full potential. Our approach to psychotherapy helps you build upon your internal resources. Using comprehensive CBT, DBT, and other evidenced-based approaches to help you achieve emotional stability so that you will make healthier choices for your life. I am a culturally competent clinician and constantly challenge my worldview so that I can best understand you. We will work collaborate to understand what is getting in your way so that you can achieve your goals. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and playing pool.
Ms. Brittany Johnson
Brittany Johnson was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. At the age of 14, she started her first job as a junior counselor at the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton. This job opportunity lead to her ultimate goal of wanting to become a social worker. Years later, she pursued her education at Montclair State University majoring in Family and Child Studies and a minor in Psychology. After obtaining her Bachelors degree, Brittany continued her education at Rutgers University where she obtained her Masters of Social Work. She also became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Brittany is currently the Mental Health Therapist, where she serves the children and adolescent population.
Whitney Curry is the Outreach Coordinator (Somerset and Warren Counties) and Counselor Aid at Kwenyan and Associates in Flemington, New Jersey. She cultivated a passion for mental health at a young age and knew helping others in this field was her calling. She graduated from Drew University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and French and has been assisting children and adolescents at non-profit organizations since 2012. In her free time, she enjoys journaling and writing poetry.
